     The Fatty's/Smooth restaurant empire continues to grow with the opening of a large Fatty's outlet in the Beitun district, just around the corner from Carrefour hypermarket. This large, two-floor restaurant is bigger than the original--allowing customers more space to stretch out in--but very similar in decor, with walls covered in classic black-and-white framed photos, seating around tables and booths with cushy red bench seats, and big glass windows that look out on the street. The menu is also identical to the original, 16 pasta dishes including the popular Seafood Thai Style (NT$310), Smoked Salmon (NT$320), and Pesto (NT$295) choices. Diners can choose from four homemade pastas--spaghetti, fettuccine, maccheroni, and fussilli. There are also 15 types of pizza, including the foldover Pizza Calzone (NT$390), plus over baked pastas like the Lasagne (NT$360), and other main courses like the NT$720 New Zealand Tenderloin Steak and the NT$340 Risotto Italian rice dish. There are side dishes, soups, salads, and Panne Cotta and Tiramisu desserts. Drinks include coffees, teas, beers and wines.
