Although this restaurant is located along the busy Jing Cheng Road half a block from Taichung Gang Road, it manages to maintain a quaint, quiet, cottage-like feel inside and outside. Upstairs and downstairs, the tables and comfortable seating is spaced around the cozy interior, accented with brown and salmon-colored walls. Although the restaurant is touting itself as an Italian eatery, there is a wide variety of menu items, starting with appetizers like Golden Fried Calamaria (NT$150), as well as soups and salads. Main courses all come with soup, salad and drink and include and eight-ounce Filet Mignon (NT$450) or US Rib Eye Steak (NT$480), Surf & Turf (NT$420), Chicken Piccata (NT$350) and other dishes like pig's knuckles and lamb chops. There are several nine-inch pizzas available for NT$240 to NT$280, plus pastas like lasagna and spaghetti. Beef or chicken nachos and tacos, starting at NT$150, burritos and quesadillas are among Mexican offerings. There are also sandwiches, desserts and a variety of alcoholic drinks, such as cocktails and NT$180 large bottles of beer (buy 3, get 1 free). During afternoon tea time from 2 to 5 p.m., add NT$30 any of the many coffees or teas and get an additional dessert.
