Ta Ta Chia Thai Restaurant has been a long-time favorite of loyal
foreign and Taiwanese customers, having been open now for about
six years. The Thai-Chinese owner/chef, Mr. Lin, has now moved
to an attractive, slightly-larger location where he continues to
provide a good variety of delicious Thai cuisine. This includes
Coconut Curry Chicken and other curries, Thai-style salads, steamed
lemon fish and the spicy-sour Tom Yam soups--with most items costing
well under NT$200. Lin said that he may re-open the old, Hsitun
Road location in September with a different selection of Thai dishes.
His new restaurant is located a couple stores down from the Minchuan
Road YMCA, between the Chungming and Chienhsing intersections.
Note that the restaurant will be closed between August 1 and 21
for the Lin's annual Thai summer vacation.
