National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts
Founded in 1988, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts has five exhibition rooms that follow different themes, including sculptures and installation art, prints, paintings, documentary screenings, and biennial shows to name a few. The grassy square outside the museum is a nice place for family to relax with fun activities. Plus, it is adjacent to the Taichung City Government's Cultural Affairs Bureau and close to the Art Museum Parkway, making it a perfect place for you to enjoy a cultured atmosphere with a relaxed mind.

How to get to the Art Museum Parkway
By Bus
Take Renyou Bus #89, U Bus #75, or Taichung Bus #71 from Taichung Railway Station. Get off at the Museum Stop.
By Car
1.
Take National Highway 1 and exit at the ZhongGang Interchange. Follow the road signs toward downtown while driving along ZhongGang (TaichungGang) Road. Make a right at WuQuan West Road and the destination is just minutes away.
2.
Take National Highway 1 and exit at the Nantun Interchange. Follow the road signs toward downtown while driving along WuQuan West Road. The museum is right after MeiCun Road.
By Taiwan High Speed Rail
From the Taichung High Speed Rail station, take the shuttle bus and get off at the Tuku Parking Lot stop (WuQuan West Road/ZhongMing South Road intersection). Walk about 15 minutes in the direction of the Art Museum.
